GURPS

I know this game came out like decades ago, but I only recently discovered it last year, and I admit that it has an appeal, despite it's very crunchy nature-- something that I tend do shy away from. That being said, if you're with the right group of people, and these people just so happen to be highly experienced with this system, I imagine that any campaigns that are adventured though will be amazing!

Character creation can be slightly tedious with many front loaded calculations, but there are two tools that are available the GCA from Steve Jackson Games and the GCS, a free utility that is updated regularly. Both are highly customizable and flexible enough to endure the GURPS toolbox of possibilities.

There are like 200 supplements for this system! Impressive, I know. And I've already spent a small fortune slowly building my own collection of these additional materials as I build my dream campaign. It's also worth mentioning that throughout the many add-ons that are available, some of the rules may contradict each other from other sources. In this case, being the Game Master, you simply go with the rules that match your world.

I love me some GURPS solo. It's the perfect game for when you wanna mash together worlds, genres, anything you want.
