A brilliant flash filled the room.  Seconds later, the light toned down and ...

Skuld was crouched down beside a large window.  The entire room was decorated elegantly and stylishly wooden in texture.  There was a fountain bubbling in the center of the room, with several trenches about six inches deep by six inches across that worked like a maze sprouting outwards from the fountain.  The ceiling was mostly comprised of vivid green leaves.  In the center of the room was a very large bed, ornately decorated with pale pinkish,  silk looking sheets and four posts at each corner, each one supporting a drape cloth.  Inside the bed a young woman slept with purple hair wearing a wooden tieria, sleeping soundly.

Skuld slowly got up and stared out the window.  All she saw were the specks of light filling the void of blackness of space from the stars.

(Welcome to the Series of Tenchi Universe, currently onboard Ryo, Princess Ayeka's space ship, somewhere in the galaxy...)

"You create the world in which you live." --Somebody much smarter than me!

EK

He must've dazed out for a moment, L realized as he cracked an eye open to witness the arrival of a new area. He gazed around the lush area of trees as he was plopped down at the side of a large, pink-blanketed bed. He heard someone get up, but he merely shrugged his shoulders. His eyes fell onto his feet as he curled his toes in before straightening them out. He wondered if the shoes were around here that spirit? was getting.

Lookout

Il's midair journey was interrupted by the shift, resulting in his final destination actually landing him on the bridge's viewport.

"Ow..."

~~~~~
A log that was sitting under of the viewport turned to his fellow log companion.
"Azaka, did you hear something?"
"No, Kamidake, I didn't. Besides, we're currently in space. I don't think we wood hear anything."
"Ugh, are you starting up with those horrible puns again?"
"My bark is worse than my energy lasers."
"..."
"Too much?"
"Too much."
Senkusha
Skuld turned around to face L and the woman sleeping in the bed above him.  Cautiously she stepped over to the side and peered at the purple haired woman.  She was deep in sleep dreaming about....god only knows what, and snoring up a storm.
"I wonder where we are now?" Skuld whispered.
"You create the world in which you live." --Somebody much smarter than me!
EK
L stared out the window in mild curiousity and noticed the vast emptiness of space. With a sigh, he stood at his two feet, brushing of his baggy pants with the back of his hand. "I'd say--" he paused. Well this was definately a different experience. "We're in space."
Senkusha
"Duh!  I already knew that!  But who is she?  ... and .... where are we going?" Skuld asked as she stood up and walked to the side of the bed observing the purple haired princess.
"You create the world in which you live." --Somebody much smarter than me!
EK
L only shrugged. If he needed to be honest, this was the first time he had ever been in space and as much as he would like to enjoy that experience, he didn't know the owner of the ship and it could lead to another awkward situation. He quietly made his way over to the side of the bed when he realized something. "Where's IL?"
Senkusha
"I--I don't know."  Skuld answered.  Maybe he found a way out of this craziness?  Maybe there is a way to go back home?!"  Skuld almost exclaimed.
"You create the world in which you live." --Somebody much smarter than me!
EK
He doubted that, somehow. He figured with the laws around here that if one left, the rest left, but he couldn't count that out. "Well, what about the distance thing?"
Lookout
At that moment, Il fell into the room on his face.
"Outer space.... lacks air." he wheezed.
He flipped over on his back and related his tale of woe:
After smacking into the space ship, he was dragged about by some unknown force along the ship until he reached the airlock. Then, uncomfortably, he broke THROUGH the airlcok and numerous floors of the ship until he arrived in the room.
Standing up, he asked "So, who are you two?"
-------------
OOC: I'm no engineer, but isn't smashing through the airlock and numerous floors a BAD thing when you're in space? Tongue Yay crashing!
EK
L stared, gulping as he realized that the lady sleeping would have some difficulty with the damages. He backed away from the hole. His eyes fell back onto IL as he heard his question. "Amnesia?"
---
((...Wouldn't... we... be killed...?))
Senkusha
A loud alarm began sounding as emergency forcefields came online, trapping the intruders within the princesses' bed chambers...
"Oh no!  We're trapped! Look at what *you* did!  Idiot!" Skuld glared at Il yelling and pointing her finger at him.
"You create the world in which you live." --Somebody much smarter than me!
EK
L stared at the empty void of space from the newly made hole in the ceiling, nibbling on a pale thumb as he observed the forcefield, safe-guarding them from suffocating. "Dealing with a developed race," he mumbled, more to himself, "either a higher technology-orientated Earth or human-like inhabitants from another planet..." Now that was something he would enjoy looking at. What were cultures like on other planets when different regions of Japan had different cultures?
He looked back Skuld, musing, "Well, at least the forcefields are keeping us from being sucked into the vacuum."
Senkusha
The purple haired woman sat straight upright at hearing the blaring alarms.  Seeing a newly formed "window" in her bedroom was defiantly not a good sign.
"ASAKA!!! KAMADAKE!!!!!"  She screamed, moments later two large wooden logs appeared on either side of her bed.
"What's happening?  Are we under attack?!"  She screamed in panic.
"No."  Asaka boomed.
"Although we do appear to have guests."  Kamadake pointed out.
[avatar=53,1]Skuld backed away from the bed side, seeing the older woman glaring her way.[/avatar]
"Who are you people?!  I demand to know this very instant!!"  she shrieked.
"I am cross referencing the Galactic Database at this very moment, your highness."  Asaka boomed once again
"You create the world in which you live." --Somebody much smarter than me!
EK
L jumped hearing the woman's shriek of terror, whipping around back to the bed, but calming himself down as he saw the problem. Oh, nothing they haven't done before. He noticed the two logs whizz in-- galatic database? He gulped slightly. "Uh," he began. What would be a good name for space? "I'm-- Ryuzaki," he introduced. He ran a hand through his hair, looking around the area to come up with something. A higher technology-- maybe the truth was actually liable here. "Damn teleportation," he cursed, "You see, our machine must had a little mix up and gotten us stuck here."
Senkusha
"My inventions are full-proof!"  Skuld whipped around glaring at L dangerously.
"You create the world in which you live." --Somebody much smarter than me!
EK
L sighed, kneeling down to Skuld's level with a whisper, "I'm just trying to get us out of some major trouble; don't worry."
Senkusha
"So am I."  Skuld whispered back, closing one eye briefly with a grin.  Skuld quickly reached up and slapped L on his cheek lightly.
"Stop treating me like a little kid!!"  She shouted.
"You create the world in which you live." --Somebody much smarter than me!
EK
L rubbed his cheek as he hid the smirk forming at his lips, breathing a loud, dejected sigh. "Well, how else would we get here?" he asked, faking a look of weary.
Senkusha
"Are you suggesting that my Teleporation Master 3000 is defective?!"  Skuld glared at L.
"You create the world in which you live." --Somebody much smarter than me!
EK
He scratched the back of his head, his eyes traveling around the room as if he was looking for something. "Well, it worked," he huffed, "But there's a few problems: One, this wasn't the place we were trying and two--" He gestured towards the room for emphasis, "wasn't it supposed to come with us?"
Senkusha
Skuld stood there dumbfounded for a moment.
Finally Ayeka got up out of her bed and quickly dressed herself in a highly decorated Kimono.
"Princess Ayeka, We have found no matches in the database to any of these strangers."  Azaka boomed.
"Very well.  Little girl, you are good with machinery?"  Ayeka asked.
"Yes I am."  Skuld answered, turning to face the young woman.
"Good.  Then you can be of service to the Jurai Empire.  What is your name, child?"  Ayeka asked, bending down to meet Skuld's eyes.
Skuld twitched with every refernece of being named a kid, however, she fought back and won.
"I am Skuld, Goddess Second Class, First Category, Limited License, at your service.... ma'am."  With a quick bow she returned to gazing into her ruby red eyes.
"Goddess?..."  Ayeka blinked.  "Are you affiliated with Our Lady Tsunami?"  the princess asked.
"Um...... Yeah, sure."  Skuld answered unsure of who this Tsunami woman was.
Ayeka clapped twice saying, "Excellent!"  Then she gazed around the room to the others.
"You create the world in which you live." --Somebody much smarter than me!
EK
L stood in attention as he noticed the decorated kimono. Expensive-- the cloth looked to be soft with highly decorated embroidory. As he caught the gleaming look from Ayeka in Skuld's introduction, he wondered exactly how religion worked in each reality as well. A look of curiosity overtook him as he contemplated on the things he could study by the different areas.
That is until the lady's eyes fell on him and he gave a small frown. "I'm a detective," he answered.
Senkusha
"A detective?  What is your rank, detective?" Ayeka asked L, assuming he was part of the Galaxy Police.
"You create the world in which you live." --Somebody much smarter than me!
EK
L stared at Ayeka blankly as she asked for rank, quirking an eyebrow in obvious confusion. Maybe she thought he was in the actual police or something. "Private, sorry," he mumbled, a little taken back by the sharpness of her tone. "I don't really work for anyone specific."
