Hihi, everyone! I’m Juneberry, but I write (though less often than I used to) under the name Jaluna. I’ve been watching anime and reading manga since I was in grade school (well over 20 years) starting with Cardcaptor Sakura back when it was newly showing on American television. I’m not really good at keeping track of things, I’ll be honest- I have accounts on sites meant for that, but I rarely remember to update them. I’ve always been kinda scatterbrained, I guess. ^^;
I started RPing in middle school, both offline with friends and online through instant messengers. I also did forum RPing around that time. I’ve been on and off with it throughout my life. The past few years have been particularly hard for me to keep up with it due to medical stuff, so honestly, I’m not sure how much RPing I’ll be up to doing here… But I might try at some point. When I do, I usually prefer one on one or things with a distinct post order because otherwise I always end up getting lost and overwhelmed.
I started playing TTRPG type things in the past five years(ish). I play almost weekly in live sessions with friends online via discord, but I did play by posts at points too. I’ve mostly played more standardized formats like Dungeons and Dragons, along with ones I only recently learned about like Mutants and Masterminds, as well as ones that focus on D6 dice like Masks.
Some of my favorite anime and manga as a whole include Natsume’s Book of Friends, Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle, and numerous others I can’t think to name right now. I vary a lot. Manga vary even more than anime for me because I’m able to enjoy genre I find difficult in anime through it, like horror (I’m a wimp).
Anime I’ve done RPing for that I enjoyed a lot were things like .hack// (or Sword Art Online-esque, whichever is easier to picture for ya), Megaman.exe, Pokemon, etc. I’ve also done RPing involving games a lot, especially Harvest Moon/Rune Factory.
Uh… Yeah, I think I’m rambling. I’ll let you go now. Just know I’m looking forward to chatting with everyone soon, even if it’ll mostly be in discussion areas and such! Have a good one, y’all!

I wasn't sure if it was specifically for people focused intentionally on roleplay or just a general guide.
