I've done some more rearranging of the site. Now all the Role Playing Systems are in the Social Groups area. Since there's currently no support for Categories, I've sorted them best as I could by not only attaching a Tag to each group, but also a text prefix to each group. All anime Groups have the designation [anime], while all role playing systems have the designation [ttrpg]. Supposedly, the developer is working on implementing Category support, but this request was originally made in 2025, and this year is already more than half over. I could attempt to implement my own code changes-- it'd probably be simple enough, but at the same time I also don't want to break something beyond repair.
And speaking of Social Groups, I've renamed the menu item to Clubs.
The Top Menu has been modified slightly. I've moved the Shop from the main list to appear under Forums now. It's been bugging me that we've had Shop and Store, which are confusing to guests. Since I'm having difficulties figuring out where to rename the Store, this is the next best option. After all, the Shop is used for modifications of your member account and role playing loot-- on the site, using virtual currency. Whereas the Store, is an actual eCommerce function designed to sell both physical and digital products here on Prismatica. Eventually, my own TTRPG will be hosted here as well, because, why not?
I've tweaked some of the colors on the site. Finally, I know, right? The links are now an old school purple (visited), because there were some colors that appear to be hard coded and I haven't figured out where they are to change them (Media Center and Shop, I'm looking at you). Anyway, the blue background made it nearly impossible to read the green link text. Hopefully, this will work better. And speaking of Links, I've decreased the size of the text slightly so that the underline no longer cuts through the middle of the links.
Other remodeling that has occurred, you'll notice that all the role playing games are now in their own dedicated board (again). All new games will have a dedicated sub-board. New game concepts/requests can be added by starting a topic in the Role Playing board, or by DMing me, or a Staff Member. As the colder weather comes upon us, people will be spending more time indoors. I plan to start/restart some of the games that are already in progress-- especially because my energy levels are increasing again with the new medication I'm on for pain management (YAY).
I think that's all the changes that have been made this week. So let's all go have some fun now!
