I've noticed one of the gaming youtubers I used to watch has started to use AI in every one of his thumbnails. It's been off putting for me, I think it's lazy when people use AI to generate a thumbnail. It's become a very common thing on Youtube recently. Do you ever skip over videos with AI generated thumbnails or do you still watch them?
I would probably skip that Youtube that used an AI image for the thumbnail.
But then again, I'm also looking to design a new web banner. I suck as an artist, and while I could use AI to generate a bunch of small images that I can later piece together, I'm not doing that. I'd rather save my pennies and pay an artist to create a new banner.
AI is just laziness wrapped cheapness.
AI is killing life on Earth.
Funny. The Terminator isn't a scary robotic skeleton inside of a flesh exterior. It's a concrete building sitting idly as it transforms clean water into filth, and pumps more carbon into the atmosphere, heating the planet further into climate collapse.
At least we could run from a robot. We're all trapped here, with no where else to go.
Really good example of a video that has a premise I would've enjoyed, but then just chose not to watch it because of the thumbnail. I always get a little annoyed whenever I recognize AI writing or a voicover too. I pretty much always skip 'em when I catch 'em.
