Yup, I totally made up a word.
Ah! My Goddess is heavily based on Norse mythology. After all, the three main characters (besides the Protagonist) are the three Norns, Belldandy (Verdandi), Urd, and Skuld. But as I'm watching this anime, something I didn't realize at the time I first watched this series the first time, is the amount of Christian influence the series contains. Let's make a list, shall we? Granted, I haven't watched the entire series just yet, so this will be an ongoing list.

- The Almighty One. A non-Christian way of referencing the Lord/God.
- Belldandy mentions using the Holy Spirit when Keiichi and her are looking for someplace to life.
- Several of the supporting characters refer to Belldandy as an angel.
