((okay, time to start chapter two. Everyone will get their powers in this chapter and we will, supposedly, begin training, though we all know how often things go off track, so let's get started.))
Alexa awoke the next morning and had a brief moment of confusion before realizing where she was. Getting up, she realized she was still in her clothes from yesturday. So, Alexa headed out of the room and down the hall to the supply cabinet. There she found herself a pair of cargo pants and a heavy shirt she fit into. Going back to the girl's dorm room, Alexa took a shower and got changed.
Twenty minutes later, Alexa entered the cafeteria for some breakfast, and found everyone else was already there and eating. "Good morning, guys!" She said cheerfully. "How did you all sleep?"
Sebastion had gotten up, showered, and changed early, he hated the bed he had picked to sleep on. He was sitting at a table and had already finished his meager breakfast. "Good morning Alexa, I slept like I was on a soviet cot, otherwise fine, you?"
Alexa smiled at Sebastion. "I slept like a rock." She hurried to get her breakfast, returning to her friends and sitting down to eat. As she began to eat, she said. "I can't wait to learn about this world."
Zandra lay in her room in Zadoc's castle. A new scar adorned her left cheek, a mark of Zadoc's displeasure at the failure the night before. Staring at the tracking device she held, Zandra sighed, "Junk. Just like the rest of the stuff Weasel makes." Zandra chucked the reciever at the wall, which made a satisfying thwack before falling to the floor.
"I'm doing great. Thanks for asking." Alexa looked at her watch. "Wow. Think of all the things we're missing in school by comming here." Alexa added asking about time differences to her list of things to mention to Serena.

"I just hope the surprise does not explode at the worst possible moment." He pats a nearby guy on the shoulder. "Hey you dropped this," and hands him a pouch somewhat lighter then when Sebastion 'found' it.
Dominic walked into the room and over to the teens. "Serena wants to talk to all of you." He led the teens out of the room and back along the hallway they'd come down the night before.
As Dominic lead them toward Serena Sebastion felt some reservation about going. He was about to more or less enter a war in a place that made no sense to him, after being chosen by a book. "I'm nervous that they are placeing this misson on our shoulders," he whispers to the group.
