Happy Pride to my fellow LGBTQ+ peeps! Will you be attending your local pride festival this year? I've thought about attending it this year but I'm not sure. Unfortunately I wonder if my work is no longer going to be in the parade this year since they haven't really announced any volunteering options for the parade like they did last year.

I probably won't be, although I'd love to attend someday. Right now, I'm suffering through too much pain to enjoy the event.

I don't even know if/where there is a local pride festival in my area... But I doubt I'd be able to go. I can't drive and rideshare is expensive I'm also just broke in general so...

I hear ya on the broke part. I don't drive as well, and even if I did, the cost of unnecessary (not pertaining to getting to/from work) is prohibitive. I, however, can bring the message Pride Month with me wherever I go though!

I feel you both on being broke! I asked my wife if she wanted to go this year, she hasn't said no but we'll see. I think our pride fest is in a couple weekends from now. Last time we went we didn't go prepared, we didn't have breakfast or bring water with us so we were overheated and dehydrated. So we didn't enjoy it...
