Hey wassup, konbanwa and bonne soiree and all that rot! I'm Pat, kingsridgeryan over on Threads!

I have not done long form forum roleplay since, well, Homestuck and stuff! I had the most lavishly diplomatic steamy romance going in a Mass Effect one, but the site shut down.

I love so much anime it is legitimately hard to list them. Let's say Slayers, Tenchi, Outlaw Star, Excel Saga, Cromartie High, Gundam, Macross, Ghost in the Shell, InuYasha, Sailor Moon, Magic Knight Rayearth, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Persona (hey they made anime of it!), Record of Lodoss War, Log Horizon, Spice and Wolf, Uncle From Another World, Watamote, Genshiken... Okay okay. You get it.

I have been writing, roleplaying, and specifically text roleplaying since I was slightly too young to be on AOL. Call it... Well more'n two decades. I DM, I have written and run a LARP, etc. I live for this stuff.

As a writer, I can be anything. Left to my own devices, sort of... Kinetic and poetic? It's hard to describe but my own book and game in progress are written to feel like watching anime. I enjoy the scope of third person and the intimacy of first. I'm honestly happy to mirror my partner's style like I always have in World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XIV!

I remember the days of AOL! The month I discovered AOL Chat..., that was a doozy! If I remember correctly, the bill was, like $600? Those were the days! LOL

With a list of anime like that under your belt, perhaps the chaos may resume here on Prismatica? Many of those I saw decades ago. Slowly I'm re-watching them on my to and back from work (two-hour subway/bus route). I don't think I ever got into Mass Effect, that was a PC game, yes? Much of my experience was Asherson's Call, back in the day. Although I have a decent setup, I lack the time and money to invest in (video) gaming.

You mention you're a DM (Dungeon Master), is Dungeon's and Dragons your only TTRPG experience? Or are you fond of any other systems?

Your current writing projects have me intrigued. Feel free to post some teasers in the appropriate areas. Maybe we can get a cast and crew organized and discuss it?!
