So, you'll notice that there's actually a lot of games here. Many of which also need some love. Quite a few of these games are predecessors from my other forum, Ayeka's Bliss (long story) from years ago. Actually, this was the inspiration for why I began this project in the first place-- resurrecting archived posts from Google. There were fun times two decades ago, with quite a bit of imagination. My hope is that some of these original members will stumble their way onto Prismatica and either be like:
"Wow! I remember writing that!"
or
"Holy [redacted]. This is horrible! Did I really write this?"
Anyway, feel free to read (or not) some of these old games. And if you feel like commanding one of these games, please, by all means, take charge! That's the second part of the reason I started digging around Google and reposting here. Besides the fact that all of this content was on my original site anyway, but Google is painfully slow to navigate. The Archive could be taken down by any number of threats. But most importantly, it's read-only. Those pages are set in stone. Spelling errors and all.
Sure, I could just start any of these games anew, but I feel that there's a certain history that should be preserved. Additional lore could be gleamed from these ancient posts-- and maybe by chance, one of the original Role Players will discover Prismatica and smile inwardly-- or cringe at the horror of our collective youth!
(I know just by skimming the text as I'm copy/pasting it there's some messages I'm certainly not fond of, and to be honest, I thought about just purging them. But I'd be doing a disservice to the reason why I began the resurrection process in the first place. I've posted some pretty gross stuff in the past. But feel that I'm old enough now, experienced enough that I can accept whatever judgements are passed, because I'm a slightly different person now than who I was 20 years ago.
Anyway, I hope that you too will dig around, giggle and cringe as I have, and maybe we can breathe some life back into these games? I'm not done digging yet, so some of the games may be a bit sparse. Hell, some of the games have lost much of their content because Google never archived them. Admittedly, my old site did suffer from some technical issues (like me now knowing what the hell I was doing as a System Admin, but we don't need to go there, right?)...
