Finally got around to watching this movie (from 2014, I think?), and it's pretty good. Kind of matches the idea that Limitless suggests: The power of the opened Mind, raw brainpower, glorious human potential!

What did you think about this movie? Do you think that the human mind is capable of such amazing feats?

While walking to work this morning, I thought of this quote from the movie:

"A cell will either choose immortality, or reproduction. It depends upon its environment. In a hostile environment, the cell well preserve itself with the goal of immortality, using all of it's energy on internal repairs. But in a pleasant environment, the cell will reproduce, passing along its information to the next generation."

(That's probably not the actual quote, but it's pretty close to what Morgan Freeman was saying.)

I look around at the world today in 2026. People are complaining about the population implosion. People aren't having children! This quote from 2014, sums up perfectly what is happening. We're living in a hostile environment. People are conserving all their energy for necessary repairs. There shall be no offspring.

Isn't is amazing how a fictional quote can be applied to reality over a decade later?
