How did you find Prismatica? I saw the owner on Magical Girl Forum and followed the link to their web page here!
What about Prismatica appeals to you? I love magical girls and I love roleplay. What's not to love?
How many years have you role played? 24
What types of plots excite you? Action and adventure are my main things. I enjoy a good romance on the side, some psychological thrills, drama, comedy, I can get excited for lots of things if they're sold to me well!
What types of characters do you prefer to play? Magical girls, of course! But to be more specific, I like to play goofy, queer girls who reflect my dumb sense of humor. I like characters who can be very kind or loving, but can also be very sassy and strong in their own way, kicking butt in amazing outfits.
Proposed Character Concept(s)
(Sadly, I do not have art of her in a proper magical girl outfit)
Mallory is a passionate, young lady with dreams of love, adventure and grandeur. Although she doesn't look the part, Mallory is a dork. She's easy to fluster, has a somewhat immature sense of humor and can be rather naive and block-headed. She enjoys retro video games in her free time. She is decisively attracted to other girls, but she is oblivious to the nature of her own attraction and believes herself to be straight, living in a bit of a transparent closet. Mallory gets along with people who flatter her and make her feel special or important. She has an intense love for the idea of sisterhood and girl power, and tends to idolize her peers, and get hyped up for the idea of supporting the people she cares about.
Here's the thing though, Mallory has a competitive spark to her and a voracious appetite that are somewhat at odds with the girly girl fashionista she prefers others to know her as. You see, Mallory is a magical girl. And her special magical power is a form of limited body elasticity (Marhsmallow Physiology, as she might call it), that allows her to devour many things in a cartoonish fashion, including opponents. Those that find themselves at the mercy of her stomach have their excess strength, energy, and powers sapped by the digestive process for Mallory's own use, empowering her during their usually temporary stay and for a time afterward. This ability is both a blessing and a curse, as while can be quite powerful, she must be cautious about who she shows it too, lest her reputation and social life be harmed. Would you trust someone who did that in front of you?? She certainly hopes so, but when her family found out they disowned her. This duality between her sweet personality, disarming appearance, and monstrous powers is an intentional irony to be played for humor and drama, if not horror on occasion.
How frequently to you plan to contribute to the Prismatica community? A few days during the Week
A player ghosts or ignores you. What's your response? Acceptance
Writing Prompt:
A pipe bursts in your Character's kitchen. Give a short In-Character role play example of how he/she/they react. Mallory flinched at the sound of a bursting pipe, leaning to get a better look and staring in horror at the rush of water flooding her kitchen. In a sharp panic, she began looking around, almost instinctively calling for her mother's help before remembering that she lived alone. Thinking quickly, she began grabbing towels and jamming them into the pipe as best she could, trying to stem the flow and soaking herself in the process. This accomplished nothing and only heightened her panic. She then tried to tape over the opening of the pipe with duct tape but that failed. And finally, she tried using an apple. "Come on... stay in there...." she grunted and pleaded, earnestly unsure how she expected htis to work before the apple shot out and smacked her in the face.
With that embarrassing plan down the drain and a mild headache, she gave up and raced outside. Once she was there, she sighed and made an emergency call to a plumber. "Hi... can you come out to my house? Right now. It's an emergency..." she lamented to her phone. Once she was done explaining as best she could, Mallory plopped her butt down on the curb and reflected upon the state of her life, thousand yard staring off into space as she threw an internal tantrum over how unready she was to take care of a house on her own. If only she had a roommate... Maybe she really should go back to school.

Please add anything else you would like the Prismatica Community to know about you My name is Marin and I'm a lover of most things magical girl. It's one of my more persistent fixations. So far I've looked into Sailor Moon, Madoka Magica, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Little Witch Academia! Sailor Moon is probably my favorite of the bunch, though Little Witch Academia is a delight in spite of it's short length. I always felt a bit frustrated at the difficulty in finding communities for the girlier media I love, so I was thrilled to find this place exists! I appreciate any interest you may have in me, and am down to chat! My hobbies are roleplaying and gaming, which I can't do without, and some of my other fav series are Kingdom Hearts, Pokemon, Mega Man, Zelda, and Puyo Puyo! I've got a dumb sense of humor and I'm looking to make friends. =)
