I've juste discovered this MOD. I am looking for something like this for so long!!!

I would probably not use everything of this MOD as my goal is especially to be able to give the possibility to my forum users to display several characters they have in a MMORPG game but anyway, this is really fantastic.

I just wanted to make you know that if you would like to have someone translating your MOD in french, I can do it. I am no coder but as I will need to translate your MOD anyway, I can give you the translation as well.

Hi, I've just started contemplating modding SMF for PBP RPGing also, except that I will be making a site like playbyweb.com and rpol.net. To check out what I've done so far go here: http://herbaloutfitters.com/pbw/dual/. I've modified the Playbyweb code to add things like secret messages in posts, a chat sidebar, an image gallery with advanced search features, and many other things.

It's a little different than your idea, as it's for a site that's made to host dozens, if not hundreds, of games, all with different rulesets, but many of the things you've programmed are things I've been wanting to put into my code. Maybe we can help each other and/or share code?

Kusha......... what happeend to all that coding stuff that were working on VERY LONG AGO, I hope it wasn't all lost cus there was alot of work done into it. I konw that you did more work than I did, but it's still i'm not sure how that could have been lost or so?

it's not lost....the database is still in exsistance and someday, when I have the time, I'll resurrect the code.

That's so sad... I found this place thanks to this MOD. ^^; I was searching the SMF forums for RPG MOD developers, and I found your 2 year old topic. I felt so sad when I read you were not working on it anymore...

This place has some great modifications. A lot of fun... I like what you've done with the forums. And it's entertaining to catch random anime avatars as I browse! They give me free stuff, hehe!

NOTE: Wow... I can see below how it was going to work... integrated to forum posts with drop down action menus... AWESOME!

Just to let you know, these projects are not dead. Some of them are just on the back burner. The SMF RPG Mod on the other hand is being completely re-written (again) from the ground up, and we got help now. There are now three of us developers working on it

All I can say right now is "soon" Sorry, that I can't be more affirmative, but really, we don't know when the project will be ready yet.

Hi guys, I'm one of the programmers helping with this project. Senk, the other programmer, and I have been discussing things and we might be releasing it in parts. A die roller mod and the character sheet mod might be ready for alpha testing in a little while. After that, we're going to decide what to do next.

Right now, I'm hoping that an Alpha MOD will be ready sometime in October.

I think we can trust that it will be. Though most software only reaches its potential in rev 2, so when the beta is released in april, then the real one in september then rev 2 will be in um 3042, so you have a long time to wait lol.

Ill bug another mod to get one done. 4-6 yrs for one single mod is not a good timeframe. Thats just outrageous. Dont do them if you make one extra line of code once a week....

I'm sorry you feel that way. I hope you find what you are looking for from somebody else.

Please keep in mind that this project has been stopped and restarted a few times due to more important real life emergencies that have cropped up, also keep in mind that only until recently has help been offered to help complete this project. One other thing to consider is the sheer complexity of this mod. That could be why it's taking so long in the first place.
