I considered making this a separate thread, but honestly, who's going to read it anyway? There's still much debate going on Threads about if this is a Dinosaur, a Bird of Prey, or a US Military Aircraft, but either way, I don't see any of us escaping this current dumpster fire so easily. Anyway....

Update:

So, I got a seven this morning? For some reason, I feel like I rolled a one. Maybe that was yesterday's bad luck catching up to me.

1. I was late to work because the drawbridge was up.
2. I lost my umbrella on the bus. $35 I don't have to replace it, because I'm already $150 short on rent as it is.
3. I lost $100 in my cash drawer today, so tomorrow, I'll probably get a disciplinary report. First one in years. (I've worked there five and a half)
4. I burnt my calzones.
5. I broke and lost a tooth, and I can't afford to have it fixed in any way, shape, or form.
6. I should have been in bed over an hour ago!
7. The Raptor apparently didn't come today.

Attempted the Caramel iced cake. Yeah... it was a disaster. Made a huge mess as I removed the spring-form wall. And by the time I got done cleaning up the mess on the counter top, the icing on my slice of cake had completely liquefied into a gloppy mess on my plate. It tasted good though! But I probably won't attempt to make this again. It's just too much work for.... dissatifactory results.

And it's raining today. With a chance of sleet and snow! Meanwhile the rest of the country is being burned to the ground by the Sun. I don't have an umbrella, so I'll probably end up getting sick. And I have a headache today too. Let's see...

Good morning!

So last Thursday, I went to the doctor, and had a bunch of blood tests done. I've been looking at all the abnormal results for the past couple of days and decided this morning I'd feed them into DeepSeek ahead of my doctor getting back to me. I figured the power of the entire knowledge of Humanity being on the Internet may actually be a good thing, right?

Looks like I'm walking down the path of Kidney Failure. After a lengthy conversation with the AI, detailing the coping mechanisms I've employed to remain a part of the workforce, it seems to think that I may be suffering from psoriatic arthritis. At any rate, I need to immediately stop using the massive quantities of Ibuprofen, but I can't go to work, let alone do my job without it because the pain in my feet is too much (yay, brain fog kicked in, because I can't think of the word I want to use).

It also looks like I may be Hypoglycemic, which partially explains the extreme exhaustion. Of course, if I'm looking at potential kidney failure, that means I also need to cut out the diuretics, like coffee, but that keeps me alert enough to do my job-- otherwise I start falling asleep (yes, while standing).

So, here I am, literally stuck between a rock and a hard place. The environment of my job is causing pain, which is causing me to consume massive amounts of Ibuprofen which is calling all sorts of bodily system... catastrophes, and the economy sucks right now because seemingly nobody is actually hiring anybody, and we're on the brink of a Recession, Depression, World War III, and.... maybe aliens?

Help.

(Yeah, I'm late today...)

Woke up with a severe leg cramp in both my calf and thigh. It's now 18:00. I woke up at like 04:30. My leg STILL hurts. I really hope this dissipates before I have to go to work tomorrow!

Anyway, I'm making some coconut-cream chocolate-chip cookies! (A special request from a co-worker).
And in other news, I found a bunch more videos I once downloaded from TikTok.

It is, indeed, Sunday. I have to be at work early today, but at least it's a short day. Time to go make a smoothie. Unfortunately, the bananas aren't ripe enough yet, so I guess I'm having straight up blueberry with Orange Juice, and a touch of vanilla yogurt.

Looks like today is going to be on the painful side for me. My ankles are swelling too. Fun, fun....

I'm looking to possibly rebuild some characters today, so long as I don't fall asleep on the bus to work. I'll consider myself lucky if I make it through at least the core concept write-up and the initial stat block. We'll see.

I've been enjoying my vacation at the beach. I feel so spoiled being taken here. The water's too cold, but I can live with that. There's other things to tour here! Today's my Saturday, and I hope to get a lot accomplished! I've got at least two role playing games to work on, and I wan to try to get another couple of chapters of the Mystery Tour re-posted today too. Also gotta try to get that Rheumatology appointment scheduled... Hopefully I get a good roll?!

• Mentally prepare myself for the onslaught of customers prior to Easter Holiday (that I don't get paid for... )
• Figure out what I'm making for dinner that uses ground sausage and not much else... Maybe dirty rice?
