Behold! For it is I, your hostess-- but I prefer goddess. I always did like making an outrageous entrance! Anyway, my name here is Senkusha, duh, which is a Japanese word that means pioneer, or one whom leads. I've been interested in anime since 2003, and I've decided to start this site as my love for magical girls and role playing has only grown more itchy as I get older more experienced.
My anime career began with Ranma 1/2 and quickly settled into Tenchi Universe. Then after being stuck in that realm for a number of years (I like to take my time with anime, and I really love dead horses, apparently), I migrated to Ah! My Goddess. It was actually a former member on my first forum who suggested that I take a look at Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, and that was it. That was like 15+ years ago, and I'm still in love with this series. I've attempted several other sites and places to try to get a good role playing game going around this setting of MGLN, and I just haven't been successful. So here we are, with my own place, and I'mstupid, baka for not considering this much sooner, but better late than never, right? Anyway, there's been other anime strewn in my watch list, but I keep coming back to MGLN, and the magical girl genre as a whole.
My favorite character is Fate Testarossa. Someday, I may write an in-depth article about why, but I'll omit that for now, because i don't want to bore you to death (like listening to one of Ted Striker's stories) I did mention that I'm more experienced. I'm a proud member of the Gen X fan-club, so I really hope you can tolerate my sarcasm and humor.
In my free time, I really enjoy creative writing. I've written a number of fan-fictions within the realms of Ah! My Goddess and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. But I also write original fiction as well. My current long term project is a magical girl parody titled, FARTS: Blowing Shit Up!. Look for it at black market dealers located in the sewage system near you soon! And when I'm not working on that, I'm writing a mega-crossover fan-fiction that takes Fate, Sasami, and Skuld and throws them into the chaos filled world of Excel Saga.
Other hobbies of mine include creating databases, minor coding/scripting, cooking & baking, someday I hope to COSplay, and I seem to be a collector of unusual role playing games. (My collection can be found on my primary site found in my bio.)
Anyway, I'm sure I've forgotten a lot of crap to say, but I'm already long winded enough as it is. It's nice to meet all of you and I hope we have some awesome adventures together!
