What are your thoughts on the upcoming HBO Harry Potter series? The only thing that is going to be weird is the casting of Snape but I'm all down to seeing how he will portray the character. Alan Rickman was my favorite actor from the movies.
I'm excited to see what John Lithgow will be like as Dumbledore.
If I watch it, let's just say I'll be sailing the seven seas so I don't support the creator. I loved the original films so it'll be hard to not compare the series to the movies.
This is how I learned there was a new Harry Potter series! ...But... yeah. Normally I prefer legal means of watching/playing stuff when I can, but I make exceptions for sufficiently terrible people. That being said, I don't feel safe watching western media that way. I'd have to try one of those VPN / Debrid thingies.
