Life seems to have a bad habit of kicking you when you're down on the ground. Today, I got kicked. My day was a typical painful Wednesday. I was coming home, as I usually do, and I forgot my umbrella on the bus! I didn't realize it until I was getting ready to board the Subway for my final leg home. Now I'm out $35, because I'll need an umbrella for when it rains.
I'm glad I get paid tomorrow, but I really can't afford an umbrella. That money was going to pay down my Health Insurance so that I could afford to renew my prescriptions. Ah! This sucks. So either I go without my prescriptions, or an umbrella. Guess which one I'm going to live without?
Medicine to me would be far more needed them an Umbrella. That's like the last thing I personally would be but you don't want to get soaked on the way to work so if I was working it would be important to have one I suppose.
I chose the medication. And purchased a new umbrella a couple days ago. But last night, I realized that I may loose my phone at the end of the month, because that's $120 I don't have.
It sucks you got kicked, I know this was almost a year ago but still that really sucks. I hope you were able to pay off your phone bill too and you eventually got a decent umbrella.
Yeah. Back in January, I paid for a full year of Mint Mobile, although, it's only the 5GB plan, so I have to be a miser when it comes to my online activity. As far as that umbrella, yeah, I was able to eventually replace it, buuuuuuuuut, I forgot it on the bus one day back in February when I fell asleep on the bus and arrived at my destination. The bus driver wasn't too happy about waking me up. So I've been without an umbrella for months now. Part of the punishment for being a burden to society is to be soaked when it rains, I guess.
